Homicide
On September 6th, 2020 at 10:39 PM, Dunwoody Police officers were dispatched to 6806 Peachtree Industrial Blvd regarding multiple people shot. Officers arrived and located three gunshot victims on the ground near an SUV.

Incident: Homicide
Date: September 7, 2020
Location: 6806 Peachtree Industrial Blvd
On September 6th, 2020 at 10:39 PM, Dunwoody Police officers were dispatched to 6806 Peachtree Industrial Blvd regarding multiple people shot. Officers arrived and located three gunshot victims on the ground near an SUV.
The investigation revealed that the victims were traveling together in the SUV proceeding out of the Dunwoody Glen Apartments toward Peachtree Industrial Blvd. The ex-boyfriend of one of the victims proceeded to cut the SUV off with his vehicle before making contact with the occupants of the SUV. Multiple shots were fired by the suspect before he fled the area.
The deceased victims have been identified as Ms. Crystal Williams, age 22, of Dunwoody, and her mother, Ms. Danyel Sims, age 46, of Lawrenceville. Mr. Malachi Williams, age 18, of Lawrenceville, the brother of Ms. Williams and son of Ms. Sims, was also shot and received non-life-threatening injuries. The fourth occupant of the vehicle at the time of the shooting, a juvenile, was unharmed.
The suspect was apprehended on September 7th, 2020 by Dunwoody Police detectives in Atlanta and has been identified as Justin Deion Turner, age 23. Mr Turner is currently charged with two counts of murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
