Dunwoody prohibits gatherings of 10 or more
This includes weddings, religious gatherings, parties, funerals, sporting events, social events and conferences.
In order to stop the possible spread of COVID-19, the Dunwoody City Council took additional emergency measures during a meeting on March 26, 2020. Starting Saturday (3/28), all public or private gatherings of 10 people or more are prohibited. This includes weddings, religious gatherings, parties, funerals, sporting events, social events and conferences.
Exceptions include critical government facilities providing essential services, schools or institutions of higher learning, grocery stores, retail stores in excess of 15,000 square feet, construction sites, pharmacies, hospitals and medical offices, nursing homes, and similar facilities. This does not prevent the gathering of members of a household or living unit.
These emergency measures will stay in effect for 30 days but can be lifted before that or extended, if the COVID-19 threat remains. Here is a link to the emergency ordinance: https://bit.ly/33O6313
