Municipal Court Earns Public Sector Excellence Award

Leading provider of information management systems for local governments recognizes Dunwoody Municipal Court for outstanding process and transaction automation services

 
Dunwoody, GA  May 2, 2014 – The City of Dunwoody earned a 2014 Tyler Public Sector Excellence award from Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) for the city’s outstanding process and transaction automation services.
 
Dunwoody Municipal Court was presented with the 2014 Tyler Public Sector Excellence Award for its use of Tyler Technologies’ Incode® local government software for the court’s automating processes.  The Dunwoody Municipal Court was able to create customer service efficiencies and increase overall work output by 27 percent without adding additional resources.
 
The national service recognition demonstrates the City of Dunwoody’s commitment to promoting quality customer service and efficient practices throughout its municipal court environment to help reduce wait times, increase staff productivity and realize savings.
 
“By earning a Tyler Public Sector Excellence Award, Dunwoody Municipal Court serves as a national model for quality customer service and proficiency,” said Michael G. Davis, City of Dunwoody Mayor.  “This prominent recognition underlines the city’s dedication to promoting a friendlier and more resourceful local government experience for citizens and community members.”
 
Tyler Excellence Award winners were honored on Monday, April 14, at Tyler’s Connect 2014 user conference, where they were presented with the awards.  Award submissions were evaluated by a panel of Tyler leadership and all entries were judged on business value, maturity, innovation and relevance to other public sector organizations.
