The City of Dunwoody released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Municipal Government Services.
By City of Dunwoody
Dunwoody, GA – February 13, 2015 – The City of Dunwoody released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Municipal Government Services. The RFPs are for the city’s Municipal Government Services contracts for the seven municipal functions of Finance and Administrative Services, Information Technology, Parks and Recreation, Permitting and Inspections, Planning and Zoning, Public Relations and Marketing, and Public Works.
The City of Dunwoody provides traditional government services in a unique and progressive manner utilizing a Split Contract Service model. The Split Contract Service model is a novel approach to governmental service delivery, providing a highly specialized work force and best in class services at a fixed cost on flexible terms. By creating a competitive environment for municipal service delivery the city has the opportunity to realize substantial cost savings while promoting greater accountability and flexibility for these services.
The proposals are due to the city by 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday, March 27, 2015. The proposals will be reviewed and scored by a committee of staff members and members of the City Council. City officials expect to award contracts for services at its May 25, 2015 City Council Meeting. Once final contracts are approved, service transition will take place on January 1, 2016 providing ample time for seamless transition from the City’s current service providers to the new teams assembled.
