Finance

The Finance Department is responsible for all financial operations, contract administration, administrative and facility services, and coordinating the annual budget and the annual audit.

**March 2020 Notice: As the concerns and number of cases of the Coronavirus continue to increase, it is our priority for public safety and we feel like it is important that we keep our Citizens, Elected officials and Staff safe and away from the virus contamination.

We urge our vendors to submit invoices through our online portal “Concur” and we will continue to process payments.  We will process payroll remotely as well, and will need to have supervisors ensure that all time cards have been submitted according to our deadlines. We will continue to have direct deposits available for our staff and Elected Officials.

The Dunwoody City Council approved a resolution to delay penalties and interest on occupational taxes and business license payments until 90 days after the COVID-19 state of emergency is lifted.

The city is also waiving the requirement for a notary on renewal applications for occupational tax and business licenses. Business owners need to follow up with a notarized application after the emergency has lapsed.

All fingerprinting services - including those for alcohol pouring permits and solicitor permits - as well as Background Check services are by appointment only 678-382-6763 until further notice.

Please use our online options for processing your payments for licenses.  The links are found under the “For Businesses” section of our website.  We understand the inconveniences, but do hold as our priority our Citizens’ public safety and well-being.  Please use our email businesstax@dunwoodyga.gov for questions.  You can also reach the Finance Director by either phone (470-487-5996) or email at linda.nabers@dunwoodyga.gov.  Thank you.
