Roof Replacement
A Roofing Permit is required for roof replacement for commercial projects ONLY. The permit is valid for six months from the issue date of the permit and a final inspection should be requested via our online inspection request portal
When submitting the application, the applicant will be required to sign a roofing affidavit affirming the roofer holds a valid business license and will install the dry-in, flashings, felt and drip edge in accordance with all applicable codes, standards and manufacturer's specifications. A roofing permit can be applied for by emailing the application and required documents to permits@dunwoodyga.gov.

Fee Payment
You may pay your $25 roofing permit fee by check, cash, Visa, or MasterCard, and the city will issue you a roofing permit. An email with a payment can link can be sent upon request.
