Winters Chapel Road at Peeler Road

In 2012, when the new Neighborhood Market Wal-Mart was proposed for the Winters Chapel Shopping Plaza, the developer paid into the city’s infrastructure bank to cover the costs of enhanced pedestrian signalization, sidewalk extensions, new ADA ramps, and updated crosswalks. Now that the new store has opened and foot traffic is going to and from the shopping plaza, the city is moving forward with the needed infrastructure improvements. 

Current Project Phase – Project Completed

The construction was completed in September 2014 and Winters Chapel Road at Peeler Road now includes the enhanced pedestrian signalization, sidewalk extensions, new ADA ramps, updated crosswalks, and new signage.
