Child Safety Seat Check Program

The Dunwoody Police Department will help you safely and correctly install your child’s safety seat at no charge. Read more.

 

Domestic Assault Response Team (DART)
In an effort to further assist victims of domestic violence, the Dunwoody Police Department has established a Domestic Assault Response Team (DART). Read more.

 

Lock, Take, Hide Program

The Lock, Take, Hide Program is an effort to reduce the number of entering auto crimes in Dunwoody. If you lock your car, take your keys, and hide your belongings, you reduce your risk of becoming a victim. Read more. 

 

Med-Return Program 
Bring your expired, unwanted, and unused medication to the Dunwoody Police Department for safe disposal. Read more.

 

Neighborhood Watch Program
The Neighborhood Watch program is one of the oldest and best-known crime prevention concepts in North America. Our Community Outreach unit can help you set up a program in your neighborhood, apartment or business complex. Read more.

 

Public Safety Cadets Program

Law Enforcement Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women between ages of 14 and 20 years old. Exploring is governed by Learning for Life, which is a division of the Boy Scouts of America. Read more.

 

Ride-Along Program 
The Ride-Along program gives citizens a unique opportunity to learn about the daily challenges and risks that officers face while protecting the community. Read more.

Teen Police Academy
The Dunwoody Police Department welcomes teenagers ages 14-18 to attend this FREE 5-day course that is designed to give participants an inside look at local law enforcement operations and challenges. Read more.
