Police Divisions

The Dunwoody Police Department is responsible for patrolling over 13 square miles of residential and commercial property. The department is comprised of sworn and civilian personnel divided into three main divisions: Uniform Patrol, Criminal Investigations and Administrative Services. Uniform Patrol
The primary responsibility of the Uniform Patrol Division is to answer calls for service, provide traffic safety enforcement, and provide proactive community patrols throughout the City of Dunwoody.

Criminal Investigations
The Criminal Investigations Division consists of investigative units primarily responsible for the follow-up investigation of crimes committed against persons or property in the City of Dunwoody.

Administrative Services
The Administrative Services Division assists in the day-to-day operations of the Police Department through community outreach, property and evidence management, public information, and general police services to the public.
