Domestic Assault Response Team (DART)
The Dunwoody Police Department has established a Domestic Assault Response Team to assist victims of domestic violence.
To aid and support victims of domestic violence, the Dunwoody Police Department has a Domestic Assault Response Team (DART). DART is comprised of eight officers and one supervisor. Each member of DART has received at least 40 hours of training through the Peace Officer’s Standards and Training for Response to Domestic Violence. A DART member reaches out to each victim of domestic violence to ensure he or she is aware of available resources for assistance.
If you or someone you know is suffering from domestic violence, please contact Sergeant Michael Cheek at 678-382-6860 or michael.cheek@dunwoodyga.gov.
