Impersonating an Officer Arrest

The Dunwoody Police Department has arrested Roche Harris, age 36, of East Point for Impersonation of a Police officer (F), Simple battery (M), Theft by taking(M) & Loitering and prowling(M).

 

Beginning in December 2013, Mr. Harris visited the Staybridge Hotel in order to obtain the free continental breakfast but was not a guest or staying at the hotel.  Hotel staff confronted Mr. Harris in December at which time he assaulted the manager.  In February, Mr. Harris portrayed himself as a law enforcement officer by displaying a badge.  On March 16, Mr. Harris returned to the Staybridge and began taking food from the continental breakfast.  Hotel staff called 911 and officers arrived on scene and arrested Mr. Harris without incident.
