Theft by Taking

The Dunwoody Police Department has secured two Theft by taking (F) warrants for Charles Grant, age 20, of Sandy Springs (warrants 14-W-006398 & 006399).

The Dunwoody Police Department has secured two Theft by taking (F) warrants for Charles Grant, age 20, of Sandy Springs (warrants 14-W-006398 & 006399).  Mr. Grant is a former employee of Walmart located at 4725 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
 
While employed, Mr. Grant made several fraudulent transactions to obtain $3,030 in gift cards.  Shortly after these transactions Mr. Grant stopped appearing for work in February of this year.  On April 7th, Mr. Grant entered the Walmart store and proceeded to steal 38 tablets from a locked display which he had obtained a key for.  Thirty-six of the tablets were Apple iPads and two were Asus tablets, total value of approximately $18,000.
