Burglary Arrests

The Dunwoody Police Department has arrested Chantel Dione Fontaine, age 34, of Stone Mountain and Christopher Rashad Thomas, age 23, of Doraville for Burglary (F).

The Dunwoody Police Department has arrested Chantel Dione Fontaine, age 34, of Stone Mountain and Christopher Rashad Thomas, age 23, of Doraville for Burglary (F).  Ms. Fontaine was additionally charged with Fleeing or attempting to Elude (F) and reckless driving and Mr. Thomas was charged with Obstruction (M). 
 
On 8/6/14 at 11:31 a.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 2700 block of Fontainebleau Drive.  The homeowner notified the 911 dispatcher that he saw someone inside the home utilizing his home security system.  Officers quickly arrived on scene and observed a silver Chevy Tahoe in front of the residence, an officer approached the vehicle and at that time the driver fled from the scene in the vehicle.  Officers pursued the Tahoe until it ran into a fence in the 2300 block of Spalding Drive, where the driver was taken into custody.  Officers still at the residence engaged in a foot chase with the other suspect that had been in the residence and were able to take him in to custody a short distance away.
