Attempted Bank Robbery at BB&T Bank
On October 24, 2017 at 9:23 a.m. an unidentified suspect entered the BB&T Bank located at 1545 Mount Vernon Road and provided a note to the teller.

Incident: Attempted Bank Robbery
Date: October 25, 2017
Location: 1545 Mount Vernon Road (BB&T Bank)
On October 24, 2017 at 9:23 a.m. an unidentified suspect entered the BB&T Bank located at 1545 Mount Vernon Road and provided a note to the teller, demanding a specific amount of money. When a second teller approached, the suspect fled the scene on foot without obtaining any money.
The suspect is described as follows: black female, between 20-25 years of age, black hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’06” in height and weighing between 140-160 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing glasses, a pink hoodie with white writing, black jeans and a black hat.
