8th Annual Georgia Law Enforcement Polar Plunge

Team Dunwoody Police will participate in the 2017 Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Georgia. Please consider sponsoring or joining our team of plungers!

 

What:  The 2017 Special Olympics Polar Plunge, hosted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run

When:  Saturday, February 25, 2017.  Gates open at 11:00am and the Plunge begins at 1:00pm.

Where:  Acworth Beach at Cauble Park, located at 4425 Beach Street NW in Acworth, Georgia

Why:  To support and spread awareness for the 27,110 Special Olympics Georgia athletes

The Dunwoody Police Department will once again participate in the annual SOGA POLAR PLUNGE at Acworth Beach.  This will be the 8th annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Georgia, presented by the Law Enforcement Torch Run of Georgia.  If you would like to DONATE or JOIN Team Dunwoody Police Department, please visit our team page here:  http://bit.ly/dpd17plunge

This is a family event, so all are welcome.  It will be a fun day out with music and numerous activities, including the famous costume contest that will take place before the actual plunge.
