Arrests in Carjacking at Perimeter Mall

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a carjacking that occurred at Perimeter Mall on May 10, 2016 at 3:15 p.m.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a carjacking that occurred at Perimeter Mall on May 10, 2016 at 3:15 p.m. Uniformed patrol officers with the Dunwoody Police Department were responding to Perimeter Mall regarding a carjacking when officers observed the suspects fleeing the area in the stolen vehicle. After a short vehicle pursuit, the suspects fled on foot and were apprehended a short distance from the scene of the crime with the assistance of the Sandy Springs Police Department. The victim, a 69 year old female, was not injured during the carjacking and no citizens were injured when the stolen vehicle crashed.

Two of the suspects are 15 year old males and their names will not be released due to their ages.

17 year old Quentin Brown was arrested at the scene and is currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail.

All three suspects have been charged with Hijacking of a Motor Vehicle (f), Elder Exploitation (f), and Fleeing and Attempting to Elude Police Officers (f).
