Dunwoody Police 2015 Achievement Awards

Once a year, the Dunwoody PD pauses to recognize some of our highest achievers; those officers and civilian staff who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to our citizens.

The entire staff of the Dunwoody Police Department is committed to serving the citizens of Dunwoody throughout the year.  We appreciate the continued support of our community.  Without our community’s support, our job would be much more difficult.  Once a year, we pause to recognize some of our highest achievers; those officers and civilian staff who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to our citizens.  It is important to recognize excellence amongst our staff.

"We have a great group of dedicated professionals who come to work each and every day and do their very best," said Chief Billy Grogan.

The Dunwoody Police Department recently recognized 11 members of the department for their outstanding achievements in 2015.  They were recognized as follows:

Officer of the Year, Officer of Second Quarter:  Officer Nathan Berryman
Employee of the Year, Employee of the Third Quarter:  Police Service Representative Cynthia Gary
Marksman of the Year: Officer Christopher Forman
Officer of the First Quarter: Officer Mark Stevens
Employee of the First Quarter: Prisoner Transport Officer Brian Bolden
Employee of the Second Quarter: Police Service Representative Kelli Duffy
Officer of the Third Quarter: Sergeant Harold “Trey” Nelson
Officer of the Fourth Quarter: Officer Christopher Irwin
Employee of the Fourth Quarter: Property and Evidence Technician Katherine “KC” Tate
Rising Star of the Year: Officer Jared Bradley
Medal of Meritorious Service:  Sergeant Robert Parsons
