Attempted Robbery - CVS

On 2/11/13 at approximately 1817 hours, Dunwoody Police responded to a criminal attempt of Robbery by Intimidation at the CVS Pharmacy located at 2500 Mount Vernon Road.

On 02/11/2013, at approximately 1817 hours, Dunwoody Police responded to a criminal attempt of Robbery by Intimidation at the CVS Pharmacy located at 2500 Mount Vernon Road. A white male, wearing a grayish sweatshirt, light blue shirt, grayish beanie hat, approached an employee at the pharmacy’s counter and pretended to be there in order to pick up prescribed medication.
 
Shortly after, the male presented a note advising the following: “This is a robbery! Do as I ask you to say. Do not move or press any alarm, otherwise you will get hurt. Hand me Morphine or Dilaudid”. Said male became suspicious of the employee’s actions and quickly left the scene.
 
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 27 years old, gray toboggan cap, gray jacket with a sky blue shirt underneath, between 5’7” and 5’10” tall.  There were no weapons displayed or injuries to involved parties.
