Dunwoody Police responded to the Axis at Perimeter Apartments regarding a person down. After investigation into the death, Dunwoody Police Detectives have arrested Barrett Ricks, age 24, for the offense of Murder (F).

On 08/28/13 at 6:49 AM, Dunwoody Police responded to the Axis at Perimeter Apartments regarding a person down. Officers located a deceased male on scene; the name and identity are being withheld at this time pending notification of family. After investigation into the death, Dunwoody Police Detectives have arrested Barrett Ricks, age 24, for the offense of Murder (F).

Homicide Arrest, Barrett Wade RicksThe family of the victim, Isaac C. Herrington, age 31 of Atlanta, has been notified at this time. The probable cause for arrest is detailed in the criminal arrest warrant, but states that Barrett Ricks did assault Isaac Herrington and then threw Mr. Herrington from a fifth floor apartment balcony. The relationship between the involved parties is described as casual acquaintances. The motive is not being released at this time pending further investigation.
