Sexual Assault/Battery Suspect-UPDATE

The Dunwoody Police Department has charged, Roman Melnik, age 23, with the offenses of Kidnapping (F), Sexual Battery (M) and Simple Battery (M) relating to the incident that occurred on 8/25/13. Mr. Melnik is currently in custody at Fulton County Jail on unrelated charges.

 

Incident: Sexual Assault/ Battery Update 

Date: 08/29/2013 

Location: 4699 Barclay Dr., Dunwoody, GA. 

 

The Dunwoody Police Department is investigating a Sexual Assault/ Battery that occurred on Barclay Drive near N. Peachtree Road. On 8/25/13 at 5:35 PM an unidentified male attacked the victim from behind as she was walking Sunday afternoon. The male is described as a white male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’5 – 5’8 and weighing 170-180 lbs. The suspect may have sustained cuts to his face during the assault.
