Dunwoody Guns & Hoses Charity Softball Challenge

The Dunwoody Police Department and Sandy Springs Police Department are going head to head with the City of Marietta Fire Department and DeKalb County Fire & Rescue in a softball challenge for charity.

This Saturday, October 5th starting at 9:00 a.m. the Dunwoody Police Department and Sandy Springs Police Department are going head to head with the City of Marietta Fire Department and DeKalb County Fire & Rescue in a softball challenge to help raise money for Special Olympics Georgia and the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.
 
The game is FREE to attend, so please bring the family and cheer on your local first responders. Food and drinks will be available as well as a kids’ inflatable bouncer to entertain the little ones. In addition, there will be a raffle drawing for various great prizes such as signed baseballs from Atlanta Braves players; a 28” Insignia LED T.V.; gift certificates to local restaurants; Glock® products; a full size pool table and more!
This second annual softball challenge will feature a performance by Timothy Miller of the Atlanta Opera and Atlanta Braves. In addition, Former Atlanta Braves players Marty Perez, Paul Assenmacher and John Rocker will be on hand to sign autographs, so don’t forget to bring your favorite Atlanta Braves memorabilia with you!
 
100% of all proceeds will go to Special Olympics Georgia and the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. Donations will be accepted both at the game and at any of the participating agencies for the charity of your choosing.
