Brook Run Dog Park Improvements

Dunwoody has gone to the dogs

Brook Run Dog Park is an active and popular amenity within Brook Run Park. The dog park is enjoyed by many dogs and their owners for the natural beauty and shaded areas that it provides.

In June 2014, the City Council directed staff to work on a relocation compromise that repositioned the dog park fencing and increased the distance between the dog park and the park’s western edge. The improvements to the Dog Park will maintain and improve the desirable features of the existing park.

The new dog park now has a 2-acre large dog area and a .25-acre small dog area. Water faucets and a wash station are also available for visitors' convenience.
