RFP 15-04 Stormwater Easement Acquisition Services
Sealed Proposals for Purchasing RFP 2015-04 Stormwater Easement Acquisition Services will be received by the City of Dunwoody, GA. The majority of stormwater rehabilitation and replacement projects involve infrastructure that was installed prior to the establishment of the City and Stormwater Utility. As such, current easements involving this infrastructure predate Dunwoody and were generated under the authority of DeKalb County. Upon the City’s incorporation, the right-of-ways transferred to the City, but any easements granted specifically to DeKalb County remained with DeKalb, unless specifically transferred to the City. Therefore, in order to perform maintenance work that the City desires to perform, the City needs particular temporary and permanent easements from homeowners. The purpose of this RFP is to seek assistance in easement acquisition to gain access to properties for programmed stormwater repairs. These services will involve the acquisition of both permanent maintenance and temporary construction easements.
