Alcohol Licenses
An alcohol privilege license is required for any establishment selling or serving alcohol beverages within the city. Wholesalers or importers in alcoholic beverages, who are licensed by the State and have a place of business in the city, are also required to obtain an alcohol privilege license.

Contact the Finance Department with any questions at (678) 382-6700 or businesstax@dunwoodyga.gov. Due to the requirements for fingerprinting, alcohol pouring permits and background checks are only done on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9am-10:45am or 1pm-2:45pm.
With an alcohol privilege license, consumption on premise is allowed from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. on Monday – Saturday. With an alcohol privilege license for Sunday sales, consumption on premise is allowed from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Alcohol for Special Events
To serve or sell alcohol in conjunction with a special event or tasting event a permit is also required. To apply for a permit to serve or sell alcohol in conjunction with a special event or tasting event, please use the forms.
